Our fair is one of the few remaining free-gate fairs in Wisconsin! Yes, admission to the fairgrounds is free.

Free parking is available on nearby city streets, or you can park in the fair lot for $5 each entry, or pay $15 to come & go all fair week. Food, rides, games, and some attractions have separate fees. Many of our exhibits, activities, and entertainment options are free to enjoy with no admission charge. Some grandstand events require a ticket. If an event has an admission fee, it will be noted on that event's page. Grandstand tickets go on sale one hour before each event at the ticket booth on the west side of the grandstand.

Sometimes it does! And unless it's severe weather, you can usually count on the fair continuing as scheduled. Because many of our activities take place outdoors, some events may be delayed, relocated, or rescheduled depending on conditions. Any significant schedule changes will be announced through our website and social media channels.

Absolutely! Visiting the livestock barns is one of the best parts of the Lincoln County Fair. You're welcome to walk through the barns, meet the exhibitors, and see the animals up close.

To help keep everyone safe and the animals healthy, please leave food outside the barns. Drinks are welcome as long as they're in a container with a secure lid. Walk through the barns, supervise children closely, and don't feed or pet the animals unless an exhibitor invites you to. Please stay out of pens and stalls, keep aisles clear, and follow any instructions from exhibitors or fair staff, especially when animals are being moved or prepared for judging.

Our exhibitors spend months raising and caring for their animals and are usually happy to answer questions when they're not busy with chores or getting ready for a show. Don't be afraid to say hello—you might just learn something new about agriculture!

Pets are not allowed on the fairgrounds for the safety and comfort of guests, exhibitors, and animals. Service animals are welcome.

Don't worry, we've upgraded a bit since 1888! Modern restroom facilities are available on-site for your convenience.

We reserve accessible parking spaces for guests displaying a valid disability parking permit or license plate. Accessible parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is located as close to the fairgrounds as possible.

Some of our paths are paved, while others are packed gravel or grass. We make every effort to provide an accessible experience for all visitors, but please keep in mind that the fairgrounds are an outdoor facility and conditions may vary depending on weather and location.

All public buildings on the fairgrounds, including the livestock barns, are wheelchair accessible. Our exhibitors and volunteers work hard throughout the week to keep barn aisles and walkways as clear as possible so everyone can enjoy visiting the animals safely.

For grandstand events, an accessible ramp provides entry to the seating area, and accessible seating is reserved near the front of the grandstand for guests who need it.

If you have specific accessibility needs, please speak with a volunteer or fair staff member. We're happy to help make your visit as enjoyable as possible!

We encourage visitors to support our food vendors, whose sales help make the fair possible and contribute to the overall fair experience. Guests are welcome to bring reasonable amounts of snacks and non-alcoholic beverages if necessary for dietary, medical, or family needs. Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the fairgrounds.

The ticket booth(s) will be open at least one hour prior to the grandstand ticketed event. The ticket booth(s) are located under the grandstand. The ticketed events for 2026 will be Modified Tractor Pulls and Demolition Derby. No online ticket sales.

Children ages 6-12: $5

Children ages 5 and under: FREE 

Fair dates aren't set entirely by us. We work closely with our carnival partner to schedule the fair, and they coordinate a busy summer route that includes fairs across Wisconsin. Each year, we share our preferred dates, and they do their best to accommodate them while balancing commitments with other communities. It's a collaborative process, and we appreciate their partnership in bringing the carnival to our fair each year.
