About Us
The Lincoln County Fair is held annually in Merrill, Wisconsin the county seat of Lincoln County. It is one of the largest events in the county. We are one of a select few Fairs that still have a zero gate fee admission policy and this is part of the reason we have such a draw within the community and surrounding areas. It is estimated that attendance of some 30,000 people over its five-day run are usually a normal turnout depending on circumstances such as weather. Our fairgrounds cover 22 acres in the city of Merrill. The fair is operated by the Lincoln County Fair Association and its army of diligent and caring volunteers.

Welcome to the Lincoln County Fair, where Northwoods tradition, community spirit, and summer excitement come together for the best 5 days of summer. For over 130 years, families and visitors have gathered in Merrill to enjoy live music, carnival rides, tractor pulls, demolition derbies, livestock shows, local food, and unforgettable fair memories. As one of Wisconsin’s few remaining free-gate fairs, you can explore the grounds, experience the entertainment, and enjoy everything the fair has to offer without paying admission at the gate. Best of all, the fair is proudly 100% volunteer-run, keeping this beloved community tradition alive for generations to come.
