Celebrate the hard work and dedication of our junior livestock exhibitors during the Market Animal Show & Sale (MASS). After months of raising, feeding, and caring for their market animals, exhibitors compete in the show ring before qualifying animals are sold to local businesses and community supporters. And this year we're celebrating another milestone—2026 is the 50th anniversary of M.A.S.S.!

If you're participating, arrive early with your animal clean, properly fitted, and ready to enter the show ring when your class is called. If your animal qualifies for the sale, be prepared to follow all instructions from the MASS Committee regarding sale procedures, buyer recognition, photographs, and post-sale responsibilities. Be sure to review the MASS rules before fair week so you understand your responsibilities and deadlines.

New to exhibiting? Buyers at the Market Animal Show & Sale purchase the animal, which is processed after the fair, and receive the meat. By participating in the sale, local businesses and community members not only purchase high-quality, locally raised meat—they also invest in the education, responsibility, and future of young livestock exhibitors.
