Demo Derby
August 9, 2026
12 PM to 7 PM
DISCREPANCY p. 49, woodworking: The exhibitor should bring the exhibit
items(s) in for judging between the hours of 1 – 7pm on Wednesday of fair week.
Check in your non-livestock exhibits, receive your entry tags if needed, and bring your projects to the appropriate department for display or judging. Department superintendents and volunteers will be available to help direct you, answer questions, and make sure your exhibits are entered correctly.
Before you arrive, make sure your exhibits are complete, clean, and ready for display, with any required hangers, containers, labels, or supporting materials called for in your department rules. Most exhibits remain on display until exhibit release on Sunday.
Some departments follow a different schedule. Many face-to-face judging departments have specific judging times later in the week, so be sure to check your department schedule. Cats and Small Pets are brought to the fair only for judging and return home the same day—they are not housed at the fairgrounds. School exhibits may also have separate setup times before Entry Day.
New to exhibiting? Most non-livestock projects are displayed for fairgoers to enjoy throughout the week. If you're unsure where your exhibit belongs, your entry confirmation lists the correct division, department, class, and lot number, and department volunteers will be happy to help you get everything checked in.
