Demo Derby

Bring your cat or small animal for judging and the opportunity to showcase the care and knowledge you've developed through your project. Judges evaluate each exhibit while giving exhibitors valuable feedback and encouragement in a fun, educational setting.

Plan to check in at 12:45 p.m. so you're ready when judging begins at 1:00 p.m. Bring your animal clean, healthy, and safely transported in an appropriate carrier or cage. Cats must be on a leash during judging, and only the exhibitor may show the animal—no substitutes are allowed. Unlike many livestock exhibits, cats and small pets are brought to the fair for judging and return home immediately afterward.

New to exhibiting? Judges look at much more than your pet. They'll evaluate your animal's health, grooming, behavior, and your knowledge of its care. It's a relaxed, educational experience designed to help you build confidence while sharing what you've learned through your project.
