Demo Derby

Check in your goats, complete any required health and paperwork verification, and get your pens set up for the week ahead. Fair staff, barn superintendents, and volunteers will be available to help direct you and answer questions as you get settled.

Before you arrive, make sure you've completed YQCA and have all required documentation ready, including your Premises ID and any required health records. Goats must have official scrapie identification and meet the department's health requirements. Bring your own water pails, hay bags, feed, hay, brushes, halters, and other supplies you'll need to care for your animals throughout the fair. You'll be responsible for your goats' daily care and for keeping your pens clean all week.

New to exhibiting? If this is your first fair, don't let the terminology intimidate you. Your entry confirmation tells you exactly which division, department, class, and lot number you've entered, and volunteers are always happy to help you find your way. Everyone at the fair was new once—we're glad you're here.
